FMF FUNDASAUN MORIS FOUN / A NEW LIVE FOUNDATION
Background
FMF was established in 2003 focusing on two programmes namely, defence of women’s rights and capacity building for member organizations. Fundasaun Moris Foun ( FMF) have drawn up to be able to answer some of challenges pursuant to experience which have reached good result, with Advocacy Human Rights strategy and Gender Equality, also Develop building capacity for the members of organization.
Objectives
- To ensure that society in suco Dato and suco Loidahar run and understand about equivalence of gender, human rights, CEDAW
- · To campaign and promote regulation of local government concerning gender sensitive in village, suco, sub district and district
Goals
- 50% men and women have gender sensitive.
- Institution Sensitive gender ordinal.
- Staff have knowledge and ability in program implementation.
FMF has 2 programmes strategies namely :
- Defence of law concerning human being basic rights and equivalence of Gender
To ensure that the existence by law giving protection to human rights and equivalence of gender in each living sector in Liquica District so that applying and implementating. In this case, FMF will work with relevant institution, like : Department of Justice, local government, NGO local and international which stand in with this program.
- Develop Capacity Building for members and organization
To be able to implementation and reached target of program needed increasing capacities of staff, so that easy to run program which have been planning. In this case facilitator and or staff need the make-up of capacities, beside to improve ability from every staff, also to improve the quality of in organization itself.
FMF have 5 staff with 1 voluntary. 3 Board, 1 Coordinator, 1 Coordinator of Education program, 1 Coordinator of Capacity Building progam and 1 administration, finance officer and voulountary staff.
